[edit] Facts

A book is not a fact. The fact that a term is used in a book does not show that the term has never been used previously. The citation request should stay. Valrith 21:33, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

"Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy." Edits should not be overturned because they are deemed "out of process." Two editors familiar with the subject disagree with you--that's a consensus. A citation which was already in the "final girl" article has been moved to the specific location where you have requested a citation. In this article, a citation references Clover and "final girl" as her wording. It is also true that you cannot demonstrate that the "term" was ever used before Clover used it--because she developed the theory, not because she coined the term--it's a theory; not a term.
