[edit] Floating

I think I have an idea on how Maskippa can float. Perhaps it flaps its leaves like wings. Y'know, like Petey Piranha.--67.87.66.127 11:33, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

It's ability is levitate, that should be self-explanatory. -24.92.41.95 18:17, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
I think the Petey Pirahna theory makes far more sense, since we don't seem to have any other explanation to how it keeps above the ground. Others are light, or use psychic powers or something. Masukippa just, well, stays afloat. SHUCKLE MAN—The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 17:59, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Slight problem with my theory. I've seen a couple of videos of Pokémon Battle Revolution on Youtube that have Muskippa in them and Muskippa doesn't flap its leaves very much, it just floats there...67.87.66.127 12:55, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-Evolutionary?

PokeBeach has a full sprite list of all of the fourth-generation Pokémon. Looking at the list, it seems that Masukippa is a Basic Pokémon that doesn't evolve. This compilation might be useful in other articles whose evolution stage has been left out. I'm too lazy to put it anywhere else though, since it's 3 AM when I'm typing this. When I first saw the icons two days ago on filb.de I too was wondering if Masukippa were to be a basic stage. Not one Pokemon in the icon lists look anything like Masukippa. But actually nothing about Masukippa's evolutionary chain should be added right now, because it would be considered original research. After all, remember Octillery evolved from the fish - remoraid? -24.92.41.95 17:25, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
If it's just pudding, then i agree. But there's absolutely no point trying to fix it now. As far as i can see, almost all the fourth generation Pokemon already have evolution information on their pages. There's no point removing it now, since the game got released in Japan yesterday. So by the time you prove your point that it's original research, a game hacker with the Japanese game would have already got actual real non-original-research information from Diamond and Pearl. --Yaksha 03:53, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
