Why does the article's title begin with Carl, but the article itself and the caption of the photo with Karl? Does anybody know which name is correct? --Pt 15:29, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Why is Jacob spelled with a C in the article body, but with K in the title? Google has more hits for "Jacob Jacobi" than for "Jakob Jacobi". Request for article move?

How do you pronounce his name in German? User:Mtaub 4 Nov 2004

  • Exactly what I came to the page to find out, but alas. Apparently, this guy says it's juh 'koh bee. Not sure how to write pronunciation notation to edit myself though. Ideally there'd be an audio file from a native speaker, like with Dostoyevsky for example.--Kevmitch 21:37, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
