Talk:Carl Bernstein
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This pretty much did nothing for me.
Does anyone know Carl Bernsteins e-mail address?

[edit] Dick
I'm tempted to remove the reference to the film Dick, which is meaningless in the context of the article and does not sit at all.
[edit] Watergate
Surely Carl Bernstein helped reveal the full story behind the Watergate break-in - he didn't actually break the news ?
[edit] Stub?
This article really is hardly more than a stub. Maybe someone should work on making it a bit more informative as regards to his reporting on Watergate. As it stands, this article basically just gives a few major events from his life. Would one want to put the same info about Watergate that appears in the Woodward article here too?
Bersein is a chimney in All the Presidents Men everywhere he went he had to light up
[edit] Return to The Post?
I think this article is incorrect when it says Bernstein returned to the Post in 1976. It is my understanding that he never returned to the Post, and that Woodward, not Bernstein, is now the paper's Assistant Managing Editor for Investigations.
[edit] Autodidact?
The article says he went to high school and college. An autodidact is a person who educated humself without attending high school and college, as I understand the term. Perhaps he red books on his own after college, but so do most people. I'm removing the autodidact category until some justification for it is provided. Edison 17:23, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
