In response to the advertisement tags, I have made this a bit more apparently neutral.
Some of the stuff I've said is not verifiable, in that it refers to the reaction in various Symbian OS development companies I've worked at, and also on the now-closed beta discussion group [here].
I suspect that might be objected to, ironically either by the Wikipedians who favour strict verifiability, or by Nokia who probably didn't want to swap an "advert" tag for some mild criticism ;-) In which case remove it. I expect the article will evolve to be a bit more neutral but with verifiable statements.
As for the tag about whether the article is about something too obscure, I disagree. I don't work for Nokia, but I am involved in Symbian OS development, and Carbide is one of the most important things related to Symbian OS development - it should definitely be included within Wikipedia.
