Carulla

Carulla is a Colombian supermarket chain headquartered in Bogotá, Colombia. It was founded in 1905, and now is one of the largest supermarket company in the country.

In 2000 it merged with the Vivero supermarket chain, its then-rival which was most prevalent on the Atlantic coast.

As of 2004, the Carulla Vivero chain operates 133 stores; 83 of which operate under the Carulla brand.[1]

As of 2006 was acquired by Cadenalco the largest supermarket company in Colombia
