Carter Oosterhouse

Carter Oosterhouse is an American born television personality and model. Oosterhouse first gained national fame as a carpenter on the TLC series Trading Spaces.
While still on Trading Spaces Oosterhouse became a contributor for NBC's primetime "feel good" series Three Wishes with host Amy Grant. Grant led a team (including Oosterhouse) around the country granting "wishes" to deserving individuals and families. The series was cancelled after the first season but continues to rerun on CMT.
Oosterhouse has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Today Show and the Tyra Banks Show among numerous others. People magazine has named him one of the "sexiest men on television" and he has also received that recognition from TV Guide Channel and Cosmogirl.
A natural athlete, Oosterhouse is the spokesperson for Nautica Voyage cologne and appears in national advertising.
In 2007, Oostershouse is set to host home improvement shows on HGTV and its sister network DIY.
While not on the road, Oosterhouse maintains homes in Los Angeles and his native Michigan.
