In 1982, Tony Basil's "Mickey" music video featured cheerleaders from Carson High School.[2] In 2005, the school pep flags team, the Carson High School Flaggies, appeared in the music video for Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl". In 2006 the flag team was shown in the Oscar Myer commercial on top of the Weiner car.[3]
