Carryl Varley

Carryl Varley is a British singer and TV presenter, who has worked on Saturday morning children's show Scratchy & Co, a presenter on Challenge TV, and also as a presenter on Quiz TV, and more recently on The Great Big British Quiz.

Although, Manchester born. Carryl was raised in Watford, and is now a dedicated season ticket holder of Watford Football Club.

In 1995, Carryl was a singer and performed as "Jinny". Singer of hit singles “Keep Warm” & “Wanna B with U“. Which made No.11, and No.30 in UK singles chart, selling over 100,000 copies. "Keep Warm", became one of the biggest's dance anthems of 1995, also making TV appearances on TOTP, and being included on the Now That's What I Call Music! (CD Series) — Now, Vol. 31 (UK) CD.

Carryl has been known to say on various occasions while presenting on TGBBQ, that she still sometimes performs on Tour, and makes singing appearances as Jinny.

There's been some on-going internet debate, on just who IS the singer "Jinny". It's been suggested that there has been at least 5 artist's that can lay claim to be "Jinny". The single "Keep Warm" was originally recorded in 1990, and released in 1991. Then the single was re-released (unchanged) by Carryl Varley in 1995, who was featured on CD covers and made TV appearances. Since then, in other countries there were other "Jinny" singers including an Asian one for some of the Asian countries.
