Carrowhubbock South is a village in County Sligo, Ireland.
Carrowhubbock South is a residential area on the outskirts of Inniscrone,Co.Sligo, Ireland. A favoured area for walking and viewing Enniscrone's famous sunsets, Carrowhubbock has become a desired location for permanent residents and holiday homes alike.
Carrowhubbock South is home to Michael McGowan Park, the home ground of Sligo/Leitrim Premier League outfit Kilglass/Enniscrone United.[1]
A quiet walk around Carrowhubbock can lead to stumbling upon quiet rocky shores or prehistoric forts.
Unfortunately the character and rural touch which has made this area popular is now under threat from a proposed housing development. Sligo County Council have granted permission for the development in the face of unprecedented opposition from the residents of Enniscrone and further afield.
