[edit] The Beginning
In 2005, bassist, Jamie Davenport, and rhythm guitarist, Jon Harris, founded Carroll Boulevard with the intention of emulating bands like Green Day and Blink 182. They found lead guitarist, Branden Clements (of the televised band, Avaritia), and drummer, Trevor Sewell, and started to catch the attention of many people immediately.
[edit] The Reformation
In late 2005, the drummer and the rest of Carroll Boulevard decided to go their separate ways because of musical disagreement, forcing Branden Clements to become the new drummer. Two lead guitarists played shows with the band until the permanent lead guitarist, Justin Sudbeck, joined the band. With this lineup in place, the band changed their music's composition, lyrics, and overall image into what could be best described as an indie rock band that defies genres.
[edit] The Present
Carroll Boulevard has been playing shows throughout Texas since the installment of their new band lineup, and have picked up a lot of attention by their "Anchorman" themed podcasts, their energetic and aerobatic live shows, and their unique sound that cannot be easily compared to other bands.
