Carpiquet

Carpiquet is a commune of the Calvados département in the Basse-Normandie région in France. Its postal code is 14490. The INSEE code is 14130. It is part of the communaute d'agglomeration of Caen-la-Mer. Carpiquet and the surrounding area are a historic Canadian battleground of World War II.
