Caroline Link (born on June 2, 1964 in Bad Nauheim, Germany), is a film director and screenwriter.

Her critically acclaimed film, Nowhere in Africa (2001), won the Academy Award as Best Foreign Language Film for that year. Her film Jenseits der Stille (1996) was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Foreign Language Film five years before.
