Carolina Dynamo are an American soccer team, founded in 1993. The team is a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and plays in the Southeast Division of the Southern Conference against teams from Atlanta, Bradenton, Cary, Cocoa, Nashville, Orlando, and West Palm Beach.

The club, which was named Greensboro Dynamo until 1996, is owned by Neil Macpherson, a passionate follower and shareholder of English club Nottingham Forest, as can be seen from the similarities between the the two clubs’ badges. In addition to the PDL side, the club operates the Lady Dynamo, a twin club in the W-League, as well as a youth academy.

The Dynamo play their home games at Macpherson Stadium in the town of Browns Summit, North Carolina, 10 miles north of the city of Greensboro. The team's colors are white and red.
