Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps is a Drum Corps International Division I drum and bugle corps, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The corps organization was founded in 1988 as the Charlotte Drum Corps Association, but the corps did not enter competition as Carolina Crown until the 1990 season. In 1993, Carolina Crown became the Drum Corps International Division II Champions. Following that season, the corps moved to Division I, entering the Top 12 and performing at the DCI World Championship Finals for the first time in 1995. The corps has continued to be a Finalist in every season since, except 2002. In 2004 and 2005, the corps received their highest placements in DCI Finals competition to date, registering 7th place finishes.
