After graduation, she moved to Linz on the Danube, and attended the Art University of Linz. In 2000, at the Paris London University of Salzburg, she submitted the thesis, Analysis and Production of Audiovisual Media considering Scientific Methods and Gender Studies, which touched upon visual media design, cinematography, political science, communication science, art history, and sociology. During this time, she undertook study trips to Paris, London, Hamburg and Cologne.

She married Georg Probst in 2003; in 2005, they adapted the historical "Bakery Building" at the "Old Market Place" in Linz, to house a bar, and their studio—which they named "Atelier am Alten Markt".
