Carol Jacobs (born New York City) is a former American othello player. In 1978, she was runner-up in the World Othello Championship. She is currently the Birgit Baldwin Professor of Comparative Literature at Yale University and has a wide range of academic interests centered on literary, philosophical, and theoretical texts.
