Carol Burns

Carol Burns (b. 1947) is an Australian actress, best known for playing the volatile lesbian biker Franky Doyle in the first twenty episodes of Prisoner. A highly experienced theatre actress, Burns has also appeared in films including The Mango Tree, Bad Blood, Starstruck, and Strikebound.

Carol Burns had acted exclusively in the theatre for ten years before acting in film or on television. She has acted in London, and has been a major contributor to the success of the Queensland Theatre Company, based in Brisbane.
