Carnot Posey

Carnot Posey (August 5, 1818 – November 13, 1863) was lawyer and a Confederate general in the American Civil War. He was mortally wounded at the Battle of Bristoe Station.
Posey was born near Woodville, Mississippi.
Posey died in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is buried there at the University of Virginia.
