A carnival party is a party, which takes place in the 5th Season. Carnival parties take place frequently in larger restaurants or festival halls. The attendance of first costs usually no entrance, while that costs latter usually entrance. On most Carnival parties can be danced, which is not always problem-free possible however every now and then because of the spatial tightness. On many Faschingsparties the people come frequently disguised, however usually no lining obligation exists. As music similarly as in beer tents Stimmungsmuik is usually played, whereby this can come either live of volume (especially with Carnival parties in festival halls) or from the tape (the latter usually with Carnival parties in restaurants). In most discotheques no dedicated Carnival parties is organized.

One of the more well-known live singers on carnival parties and events in the Rhineland and Eifel is "Schmitti".
