[edit] History
The current building was built in 1967 as Carman High School, replacing a building dedicated in 1930, which is now the site of Baker College. Ainsworth High School had been built a few years earlier.
In 1986, the Carman (Flint Township) and Ainsworth (Mundy Township) School Districts merged, and since Carman High School was the largest high school building, it became Carman-Ainsworth High School. Ainsworth High School is now Carman-Ainsworth Middle School; the football stadium at the Middle School is home to Carman-Ainsworth's football and track teams.
Both buildings underwent major renovations and expansions in recent years.
