[edit] Biography

The twins were born on December 24, 1978 in Stillwater, Minnesota, United States. Lane is the elder of the two, born six minutes earlier than Kyle.

The Carlson twins grew up with two older siblings, Aaron and Michelle, and a younger sister, Lynnaya. They attended Stillwater High School and later both graduated from Winona State University. They began their modeling career when Lane was "discovered" in a mall in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and have since become successful models across the world, following in the footsteps of the Brewer twins, who became famous after nude modeling for gay photographer Bruce Weber. A famous photo of the Carlson twins depicts them in a tender embrace, their penises extremely close and almost touching, and their arms intertwined as well.

They were introduced as the "hottest gay icons" on VH1's Totally Gay. The twins stated on their web site that they are not gay and "If you find gay pictures of the twins on the internet, than [sic] you found faked images of the Carlson Twins".[1]

Other than their modeling career, the twins also co-own a construction company, Carlson Construction Services, with their father, a general contractor. The twins now reside in Los Angeles in order to continue pursuing their modeling and acting career.

They have worked for companies such as Armani and Out magazine, and are also known for their work in the Spring Break 2001 edition of the now discontinued Abercrombie and Fitch A&F Quarterly catalog.

In 2005 they appeared as themselves in the TV comedy Home Disaster (IMDb link) on The WB Television Network.
