Carlos de la Garza

Carlos De La Garza was the drummer for numerous Long Beach and Orange County bands including The Trenchtown Invaders, Suburban Rhythm, Meal Ticket, F.Y.P. and Reel Big Fish. He joined Suburban Rhythm in 1992 and was part of the band until their breakup. He replaced Andrew Gonzales as the drummer for Reel Big Fish and appears on the album Cheer Up. His last live performance with Reel Big Fish was taped and released on the The Show Must Go Off! dvd. Later he played drums for various Los Angeles bands including Sugarcult and GoGoGo Airheart. He then began working at Capitol Recording Studios in Los Angeles where he worked on the critically acclaimed and Grammy nominated soundtrack to "Good Night and Good Luck".
