Carlos Moreno de Caro

Carlos Moreno de Caro (Born in the city of Barranquilla), is a Colombian politician and founder of the Let the Moreno play movement political party.[1] He has been councilman for Bogotá,[2] chamber's representative and senator of Colombia in different terms. He was appointed by president Alvaro Uribe as ambassador of Colombia in South Africa in 2007, generating controversy after Moreno proposed including in his diplomatic envoy war displaced people, a beauty peagant queen and a soccer player.[3] He has generated controversy in the past for being involved in verbal[4] and corruption[5] scandals accepting in his party lines politicians expelled from other parties with pressumed ties to illegal paramility groups.[6]
