Carleton-sur-mer, Quebec

Carleton-sur-mer is town located in southern Quebec, on the Gaspé Peninsula. Each summer the Maximum Blues[1] festival takes places, which up to 25,000 people attend. The town also has a golf course, Le club de golf de Carleton [2], which offers golfers a view of the Chaleur Bay. Carleton-sur-mer is the site of the first thalassotherapy salon in North America.
Carelton-sur-mer was formerly known as Carleton-Saint-Omer because of the fusion between the municipalities of Carleton and Saint-Omer.
