Carl Talbot was a fictional character in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. He was played by Alan Cooke.
Talbot was a bailif who was sent to claim money from Billy Mitchell, who was in debt.
When Talbot arrived at Walford Video, Billy's shop, Billy lied and said that he was not Billy Mitchell. His cover was blown when Keith Miller came into the shop and called him by his name.
Talbot took Billy to the ATM at the tube station, but Billy's card was retained by the machine, and after a confrontation with Billy's relative Phil outside the shop, Billy was forced to give Talbot money from the till.
