Carl Sargeant

Carl Sargeant (b 1968, St Asaph, Wales) is a Welsh Labour Party politician and a member of the National Assembly of Wales for Alyn and Deeside constituency.
He was first elected in the National Assembly for Wales election of 2003, succeeding Tom Middlehurst who stood down. Prior to entering the Assembly Sargeant worked as a process operator with a chemical company.
