Carl Greenidge

Carl Greenidge (born April 20, 1978) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He is the son of Gordon Greenidge.

Born in Hampshire, Greenidge has played for Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, and Surrey. He has played Twenty20 cricket since 2004. In 2000, he was a candidate for Cricket Writers' Young Cricketer Of The Year. Carl currently represents Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, although limited appearances in the 2006 season have led to speculation the player will move on for 2007.
