Caringbah is a CityRail railway station, located on the Cronulla branch of Sydney's Illawara line. Located in the Sydney suburb of Caringbah it serves a residential and commercial area.
Caringbah can be accessed from The Kingsway, one of the suburb's main roads. The train line runs underneath the road. It is located in the main part of Caringbah's commercial district, and is a twenty minute walk from the suburb's light industrial area.
[edit] Service
Like Miranda railway station, it has an island platform with trains running in both directions, one direction per side. There are four train services per hour (two in the direction of Cronulla and two in the direction of the city) at most times. Additional trains run at weekday peak hours.
[edit] Access
The platform does not have Easy Access for wheelchairs, but does have lift access.
[edit] Parking
It is one of the few stations in the Sutherland Shire without an official CityRail carpark. However there is a large amount of all-day parking along the rail line for quite a distance, only a short walk away.
