The Career and Academic Development Institute (CADI), opened September 7, 2004, is an accelerated non-traditional high school located in Philadelphia, PA. The school was developed as a cooperative effort between OIC of America, a non-profit organization created by the late Rev. Leon Sullivan and the School District of Philadelphia. The school provides transitional services to students who are over aged and lacking the necessary credits to graduate from a traditional high school.
CADI uses the same curriculum utilized at public high schools, and students receive computer assisted instruction and an online subscription to internet lessons. The school is run year-round with two summer sessions. Upon completion of the program at CADI, each student receives a diploma from the last high school he or she attended.
