Career Next Step is a career assessment company located in Arlington, Virginia. Career Next Step's products were created by professors James G. Clawson and W. Herbert Crowder at the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, and are based on a career development course and assessment tools that students have used for more than 25 years to prepare for job searches and career changes.

Career Next Step sells 12-months subscriptions to its proprietary set of assessment tools, as well as resells commercial assessments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and FIRO-B assessment produced by Consulting Psychologists Press.
