Career Launcher

Career Launcher is a test-prep based education service provider founded in 1995 by Satya Narayanan R, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore [1]. Career Launcher offers career-oriented training and preparatory education to school and college going students across India, West Asia and the USA.

Career Launcher provides preparatory education for under-graduate and post-grad college students taking career-related entrance tests after college. The programs offered by Career Launcher include test prep for MBA, IIT Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) [2], GRE and career advisory services for school students.

In 2005, Career Launcher started its own K-12 schools [3] . The first two schools – Ananda and Indus World Schools were opened in Indore and Hyderabad. Career Launcher also provides online tutoring [4] and SAT tes-prep for students in USA.

From January to May 2006 a series of programs on 'Science in Sports', produced by Career Launcher and Commissioned by Indian Space Research Organization, was telecast on India's National Television Network. The series explained fundamental concepts of Science using Sports metaphors and was very popular among young TV viewers.
