The Cutleaf Toothwort, Crow's Toes, Pepper Root, Purple-flowered Toothwort (Cardamine concatenata) is a perennial woodland plant native to eastern North America. It grows as an understory plant, and is a spring ephemeral.
The leaves are on long petioles, deeply and palmately dissected. The white to pinkish flowers, borne in early to mid spring, are held above the foliage.
