Carbwiser

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'The Carbwiser Plan' is a Low-carbohydrate diet book written by English automotive technician David Mills. The books details Mills experience of a carbohydrate controlled diet over a period of two years, during which time he claims to have lost 126 pounds (57 kg). The first edition of The Carbwiser Plan was published in October 2002, and was distributed as a downloadable e-book. A spiral bound version was released the following month.

The Carbwiser Plan uses a “question and answer” format to explain the different facets a carbohydrate controlled diet, and to provide readers with additional information about various Low-Carb health concerns raised by the media. It contains a Mill's own diet plan, but its format also allows it to be used as reference material in conjunction with other low-carb plans.

The name 'Carbwiser' is a pun on the carbohydrate content of Budweiser beer.
