Caramel Shortbread, also known as Millionaires Slice, Millionaires Shortbread or Caramel Slice is a confectionery item in the United Kingdom believed to be from Scottish origins because of the use of shortbread. It traditionally consists of 3 layers; shortbread biscuit base, caramel centre and milk chocolate. There are also variants including the use of peanut butter and raisins.

The origins of the name Millionaires Slice has no definitive answer, it is believed that either it is food for millionaires or because it is so rich (in flavour).
