Car Broke, Phone Yes is a science-fiction themed Courage the Cowardly Dog episode about emotion-eating aliens.

A strange man arrives on the Bagge farm who does not appear to be able to speak proper English. He asks to use the phone. It becomes apparent that he is searching for kindness. He finds none in Eustace, so then searches Muriel. He removes all her kindness and then she becomes cruel like Eustace, treating Courage terribly. Through his telescope, Courage sees that the man has returned to a large flying saucer, and is in fact a tentacled brain. He has Muriel's kindness. Courage enters the saucer and sees the alien talking to its boss, a giant brain that feeds on emotions. Courage fights with the brain's lackey, when the cruel Muriel arrives, exchanging insults with the giant brain. Courage defeats the aliens and restores Muriel's kindness.

- This is the first episode in which an enemy (the brain alien) is turned good instead of remainig evil or misunderstood.
