Captain Satellite

Bob March was Captain Satellite, a local TV personality that hosted an afternoon TV program on KTVU-2 in Oakland, California. The TV set had a cutaway rocket ship that guest children would co-pilot under the supervision of Captain Satellite (Bob March). Various cartoons and other films would be introduced during breaks.
The show ran for ten years from the 1960s to the early 1970s. Captain Satellite made guest appearances at various events, e.g., movie openings at the local theaters. Bob March retired in 1995 and lives near Sacramento in Auburn, California.
