Captain Granbretan is a fictional character, from a comic book in an alternate version of the Marvel universe.

Captain Granbretan first appeared in Captain Britain vol. 2 #13, a Marvel UK title, in a short story written by Grant Morrison and illustarted by John Stokes.

He is a member of the Captain Britain Corps which extends into the Marvel Universe through ties to Captain Britain but he resided on and protected the Protector of the Republic of Granbretan on Earth-1812 until his death. Prior to his death he was a college student.

Although Granbretan debuted and died in his only appearance, for sake of simplicity, he is credited as being in major Corps events that appeared in Excalibur such as Merlyn's funeral and Brian Braddock's wedding. However, since he was already dead when the Warpies attacked the Corps he is not listed in the Excalibur: The Sword is Drawn miniseries.
