Captain D's is a U.S.-based chain of fast-food restaurants, specializing in seafood and fish and chips.

The first Captain D's restaurant opened in Donelson, Tennessee in 1969 under the name "Mr. D's." The "D" stands for the last name of the founder, Ray Danner. Captain D's has since grown to become a restaurant chain with more than 580 locations in about two dozen states (primarily in the South) as well as overseas. Its main competitors are Long John Silver's and Arthur Treacher's.

Captain D's current owner is Sagitarius Brands who also operates Del Taco. It was purchased in December 2004 from Shoney's in a deal that was reported to have been valued at around $150 million.
