[edit] Publication history

Alan Moore intended Captain Albion's Earth (Earth-523) to be a neo-Elizabethan England whose empire embraces America and most of Asia in a golden age of peace, enlightenment and prosperity.

There was a Captain Albion one-shot strip planned but Moore abandoned this when he stopped doing fanzine work.

[edit] Parody and References

  • Captain England and Captain Albion can also be glimpsed in one issue of Wildstorm's Top 10 series (written by their creator Alan Moore). Top 10's setting, the city of Neopolis, has well-documented links to alternate universes.
