Capone (Chicano rapper)

Capone is a hardcore Chicano rapper, known especially for his rivalry with Mr. Capone-e and his work with fellow Chicano rapper Conejo. He first debuted on Thump Records' compilation Low Rider Sound Volume IX with the track "Can I Kick It" and then went on to found his own record company, Latino Jam. One of his songs, 'I Need Speed', featured on the soundtrack of Need For Speed Underground 2. He lists hip hop performers such as Kid Frost, Cypress Hill, Psycho Realm, Fat Joe, and Big Pun as influential. Capone was born in California, but spent much of his childhood in the Detroit area. He is now based in Texas.
