Capital Children's Choir

The Capital Children's Choir is one of the UK's leading children's choirs, and is based in London. It was founded by the singer and composer Rachel Santesso in 2000.
The choir has over 100 members, and is divided into 6 different groups including the Capital Chamber Singers. The choir is equally in demand for pop and classical music events. The choristers also play on a variety of difficult and unusual instruments, performing everything from Indian Classical Music to Björk.
On October 18th, 2006, The choir performed alongside Heather Small at the Royal Albert Hall for the UK launch of the anti-cervical cancer vaccine, Gardasil. On April 2, 2006, the Capital Chamber Singers were invited to sing at St. Peter's Basilica, The Vatican for the first anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II. They have performed in most of London's most prestigious venues, as well as regularly touring across Europe to rapturous audiences.
