Cape May National Wildlife Refuge

Cape May National Wildlife Refuge is a National Wildlife Refuge on the Cape May Peninsula in Cape May County, New Jersey

It was established in January 1989, since when it has grown from 90 acres to more than 11000 acres (45 kmĀ²) in size.

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service manage the refuge; the refuge headquarters are in Cape May Court House.

It provides habitat for large numbers of migratory birds.

It was designated as a Ramsar site in 1992.
