The initialism "CAPS", when used by itself, can refer to:

CAPS is also used as a reference to capital letters (or "caps"), written in capital letters itself. See caps for other uses in lowercase form.
In telephony CAPS means Call Attempts Per Second. It used to measure the sizing of telephony application servers.
