I'm Dave(aka: Canadian-Bacon), an adminstrator on English Wikipedia, I live in Ottawa, Ontario. I've been using Wikipedia as a reference for just about everything for as long as it's been around. I joined Wikipedia in June 2006 and my first edit[1] was to Barrhaven on June 30th. I've been an administrator on English Wikipedia since December 23rd 2006.

[edit] My Work
Most of the work I do is simple anti-vandalism, grammar fixups, small rewrites so I don't have much to show as far as articles go. As strange as it sounds, sifting through Recent Changes at 3am is a fun time for me. Reverting vandalism is probably my biggest priority as far as my work on Wikipedia goes, and therefore most of my admin time is spent at WP:AIV, though I also spend a lot of times clearing the(ever present) backlog at WP:CSD.

It's often good to know an editors bias in order to see if he is trying to be neutral when editing. For this reason I feel it's important to disclose my personal bias to make sure I'm accountable for what I do.
According to the Political Compass I am -6.00 on the Economic Left/Right axis, meaning I tend to preder socialism over capitalism, and I am -5.79 on the Social Libertarian/Authoritarian axis, meaning I tend to prefer libertarionism over authoritarianism.
So, if you ever see me editing the articles of the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela or Mahatma Gandhi feel free to tell me to stop.
