[edit] Apology!

I am afraid I made some edits to this page without being logged in; the changes I made relate to Noel Duckworth's service in the POW camps during the Japanese occupation of Singapore.

I happened to know Canon Duckworth very well during my time at Churchill College, both as a member of the Chapel Committee and as a member of the Churchill College Boat Club! He was well known for a fund of bawdy encouragements to novice rowers; I especially recall his exhortation to rowers to open their knees - not to worry about their balls as that was why the cox had a cap! --APRCooper 00:54, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
