[edit] Favorites

Who on Earth would be interested in favorites of a person, especially when she isn't that famous? Marcus2 02:26, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm interested. Just because you don't want them listed, doesn't mean you should get rid of them. And excuse me, but she's known throughout HK, mainland China, Taiwan, etc. She's one of the better known singers in the HK entertainment industry. That's fine, though I have never even heard of her. I won't revert anymore for now, to avoid this commencing into an edit war. But I do believe that a person's "favorites" is very unencyclopedic, unless it has helped to shape their careers. Marcus2 13:02, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Most online bios of Chinese celebrities have these kinds of information. And the fact that you personally have never heard of her is not exactly a measure of notability, is it? You're not far from NYC. Next time you go to Chinatown, walk into any given VCD shop and you'll see her CDs and her movies. Some of the stores might even have a poster of her up. If you want to help WP get rid of non-notable and unencyclopedic stuff, start here: Category:Pokémon species by generation and Category:Digimon by level. I don't understand how to get started with these examples, but thanks for your help. :) Marcus2 17:17, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, you can read the articles in the subcategories of those two categories and decide if anything should be taken out, or if any of those articles should be nominated for deletion. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 17:32, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
