Canyon Middle School is a middle school in Castro Valley, California, USA. It is one of two middle schools in the Castro Valley Unified School District, the other being Creekside Middle School.

The enrollment is around 1,400 students in grades 6-8 and the Principal is Mark Croghan.[1] A notable 31% of the students are Asian.[2]

Canyon Middle School is a 'California Distinguished School'.[3]

The unsolved murder, in 1994 of student Jennifer Lin, was widely publicised.[4]
