Canyon Meadows (C-Train)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canyon Meadows is a stop on the South Line (Route 201) of the C-Train light rail system in Calgary, Alberta, and was one of two new stops that opened on October 9, 2001.
This station was designed to serve the Canyon Meadows neighborhood and it has a pedestrian bridge connecting to a large park-and-ride facility on the east side of Macleod Trail. Residents of Canyon Meadows attempted to prevent the station from being built as it required the demolition of several homes and they felt that the station was unnecessary as it was too close to the Anderson station.
