Canterbury Hall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canterbury Hall is one of eight intercollegiate halls of the University of London. Previously a hall of residence for men training for the Anglican priesthood, it was acquired in the late 1940s by the University and designated a hall for approximately 250 female undergraduates. In 2002 it became a co-sex hall, thus relinquishing its status as the University's 'Virgin Mega-Store'. Since 2000, the Warden has been Lynn Cairns, formerly Vice-Warden of the neighbouring Hughes Parry Hall.
